The Genny Portal is the only power distribution window unit on the market today... and it’s patented! This unit serves as a conduit for supplying electricity from an outside portable generator to the home’s interior during a power outage. The unit has multiple power outlets, USB Charging ports and pull-out charging stands for portable devices such as smart phones and tablets. The unit can also be used all year round to charge both phones and tablets using the included solar panel (later version). This gives you the option to keep the unit permanently installed or simply remove it once power is restored. The adjustable LED light comes in handy for immediate illumination once the generator is turned on. The adjustable sides of the unit allows for use with multiple sized windows. The exterior power outlet and USB port (later version) allow for the unit to be plugged in the home bringing both charging and power to the outside. This is great for when you need to use a power tool or charge your phone while doing yard work. The rear compartment of the unit houses all cables and accessories as well as the power cord (later version). The window is not just for looking out any more… it is now a portal because during a power outage, it brings the power through your window! As if losing power wasn’t bad enough; having to run extension cords through windows or doors is another headache altogether. Most often a door or window will need to remain open just enough for the extension cords to go through. We can all agree that allowing elements such as rain, wind, sleet and snow into your home is NOT a good idea. Leaving a door or window open in calmer weather can also cause a headache as it is an invitation for rodents, bugs, lizards and insects to step right into your home. The obvious lack of security is something that cannot be ignored when it comes to leaving windows and doors unsecured.
